Bread, Birds, Cornbread, Kittens and Soap
What at week!!!! I was down in my back this week. I popped my SI joint in my hip out.....apparently I was vigorously exerting myself too much when I was trying to pry my foot into my boot :)) Dr. Del popped it back in for me. He kept telling me to reeelaaxxx.....which is kind of hard to do when your know your about to be hurting!!!! In spite of me being a poor patient Dr. Del got my hip back in place. THANK YOU!!!
Today is a much better day!
Here are some pictures of what's been going on the last few weeks.
Faith's first loaf of bread. We forgot to take a picture before we tried it. Warm buttered bread fresh out of the oven can't be beat.

This little bird flew into our stove pipe, down the pipe into the stove and out in our house. The only reason we caught his was because he flew into the window, trying to get out, and stunned himself. We were ducking and running, or in my case hobbling, for awhile.
Faith's first pan of cornbread. She's becoming quite the little cook.
Patches had her litter of kittens in Jack's dog house this afternoon. When it was all over we ended up with four kittens. Two yellow tabbies, one gray tabby and one calico. Anyone want some kittens!!!! They keep snakes and mice away.
Everyone was watching and waiting patiently for Patches to have her kittens.....Jacks wondering when he'll get his dog house back. Rudy thinks those little kittens look just like the moles he digs up.....Got to keep him away.
I finally finished Brentlee's Blanket. :)

Planting onions in the garden. Our composting is the little crate box to the right.
Faith's sugar cookies.....hears a tip. If you reduce the sugar in Sugar Cookies they don't taste like Sugar Cookies any more.
Making our first batch of Soap.
We used Lye, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Shortening, Lavender and oatmeal. We'll find out in 2 weeks how it turned out.

Taking a break at Billy Creek
We had a great day out in service and a break at Billy Creek was just what we needed.
The girls decided they needed their own private picnic.
Miss Emily is soooo cute.
Exploring the forest before heading back out in service.
